A very good quality Antique Overmantle water gilded mirror. This mirror has the original mercury mirror plate which has that lovely sparkly reflection which is due to an overall natural oxidising of the mercury backing. The reflection is still good however when direct sunlight hits the mirror plate it has a wonderful sparkle which is magical. There is one small one inch foxing circle, please see the photos, however this only proves the authenticity of the mirror.
