A mid-19th century camphorwood military secretaire campaign chest on chest, professionally hand restored and bespoke French polished, with brass fittings and handles.It has a wonderful depth of colour and patina and has that "untouched" perfectly looked after,country house feel.
It also has the sweet ,slight aroma of the camphorwood, used in campaign furniture because it naturally repels insects.
